Edi at Camp 2011

On June 12 we took Edi to Camp at Camp Albemarle in Newport, this is her second year going and she was so ready to go.  She had a wonderful time and is considering going for 2 weeks next year instead of 1.  I'm not so sure about how well I would handle her being gone that long, but I'll never tell her that.  Making new friends, experiencing new adventures, and most importantly getting closer to God are all wonderful things in my book.  How could I say no to that!!!

5 Going On At Least 18

The other day Amelia was playing dress up with some of the real clothes that my mom got her for her birthday and this is how she came out looking, She just looks way too grown-up in these clothes and that pose.  I told her she had to stop growing up.  My babies are getting way too big!

When You Live in the Country

The other night we headed out for a ride on the golf cart and ended up in the garden with Daddy Dent and he taught the girls have to scratch for potatoes.  They were so cute helping in the garden.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

Edi's Award Day

Last Wednesday Edi had Awards Day at school.  We were able to eat lunch with her in the classroom and then head to the cafeteria/auditorium for the Awards.  I am usually the only one that goes because Daniel is working, but this year he was able to take off early since her awards were not until the afternoon.  We didn't tell her, so when she saw him she was very happy.  It is always so nice to celebrate her accomplishments.  Way to Go Edi!!!

In the Classroom eating Lunch

Amelia got to go this year to the awards,
so she'll know what to expect next year.

Edi and her Buddy Peyton!

Her 4th Grade Team's Cake!

Edi being awarded 1st Place in the Jump Rope for Heart Challenge, 5th year in a row. One more and she will have been the highest raiser all 6 years of Elementary School, so proud of her. She does it all herself and this year she noticed the block on the form that says, "I want to give more, don't send me prizes." Her PE teacher called to make sure it wasn't an error.

STAR Student Award, which is the good behavior award.

AR Goal Award, which means she met all goals related to AR(Accelerated Reader) all year.

Honor Roll Award, she made honor roll all year.
Although the last 9 weeks she made Principal's List! Great Job Edi Pie!

Oh, What a Personality!
