This past Saturday we surprised the girls with a trip to Wheels of Fun. They got gift certificates from us for Christmas to this cool place and with the weather being so nice we decided to go. We told them at dinner Friday night that we were taking them on a mini-trip the nest day, but we couldn't tell them where. I thought Edi was going to bust, she could not stand not knowing. It was so funny watching her squirm and ask about 1,000 questions between Friday and about 12 noon on Saturday when we arrived at Wheels of Fun, it took us about an hour to get there. We were able to roller skate, ride go-carts, play in the huge play gym, and play a round of putt-putt. We even could have skated in the skateboard park and hit balls in the batting cages, but opted out of those 2 things. We all had a great time and being able to spend time together as a family was the highlight of the day. On our way home we stopped at Cold Stone Creamery for them to use another gift certificate they received for Christmas. It was Yummy! We then headed to my parent's house for dinner and to see John Mac who had spent the day with them. My mom cooked a great dinner for us. What a wonderful day with wonderful family!
